John Lee | About
I make complex products easier to use and easier to ship.
Across Aeroplan, RBC, and Arc'teryx, I have worked on acquisition, money movement, membership, and customer communications. The common thread is work that crosses systems and teams. I like making the tradeoffs clear and turning ambitious ideas into real products.

What I value
Customer trust
People should not have to understand the machinery behind a product to feel confident using it.
Useful clarity
I write decisions down, show the tradeoffs, and stay honest about what we are not doing yet.
Durable work
A good release solves today's problem without making the next one harder. I look for capabilities teams can reuse.
Where I work best
Ambiguous beginnings
The goal matters, but the product, operating model, or path to delivery is still taking shape.
Work between teams
The customer sees one journey while the company sees platforms, partners, policies, and separate roadmaps.
Build to learn
Sometimes a prototype, analysis, or small working build answers the question faster than another meeting.
What I'm good at
Making strategy executable
Turn broad business goals into a credible product direction, capability model, phased roadmap, and decisions teams can build against.
Complex delivery
Make ownership, dependencies, and decisions explicit across teams that do not report to one leader.
Growth and lifecycle
Find where customers lose momentum and improve the journey with evidence rather than assumptions.
Selected experience
Different environments. Same focus on the customer.
